Welcome to Season 1: Episode 8 of People Are Everything, the weekly podcast where I ask my guests, "Who are the five people who have shaped the person you are today?"

Today, I'm speaking with Steve Keywood. Steve is an Ex-Rugby Player turned physical trainer with over 20 years of experience. He owns and runs his own training facility called Nudge, which is a very appropriate name given that we all need a gentle reminder of the importance of health and nutrition.

Our discussion centres around the importance of community in fitness, the psychology behind eating and exercise, and the influential people in his life. Steve shares insights on how personal connections enhance motivation and adherence to fitness routines and the complexities of food and emotional relationships with it. He reflects on his sports and psychology background and the significant role his family plays in his life and career. We also discuss the important relationships and influences in his life, including the women who have supported him, the importance of community, and the impact of mentorship on his education and career.
